Default Savage 10ml

I haven't seen much about this one for a while. Is it still in production? I don't think Gander or Dick's carries it. I know there were some safety concers. Have they been resolved? Or is this one done?

Yes they are about $630-$675 in blue/black or blue/camo composite only. Its the newer 4.40 spacing with standard/large shank too IIRC.

They added a new recoil pad too.

There is no evidence that a Savage muzzleloader ever blew up using a recommended load that was loaded properly. This stuff got started after a muzzleloader "legend" had a Savage blow up after he was fired by Savage.

Unfortunately I left the ram rod in my Savage ML.10 twice and have Double loaded it once. It actually broke my scope mounts. But the Barrel never blew up. I have shot several hundred loads, and hundreds of load after those mistakes. Yes this is very embarrassing to admit but I believe savage deserves credit for basically saving my dum head.
