Nice shooting. we've had old doe's that were just as cagey as a buck!

You brought to mind a "wacky" doe of my own.

4 or 5 years ago I spent most of my hunts on an old farm beginning w/ archery season. There was one doe who RAN everywhere!
I remember the first time I encountered her just assuming she had spooked ; yet even when others were standing/feeding in the field this young gal would streak by.
Throughout the season I saw her often, even from a few fields away the brown blur was easy to spot, & noticed she was always alone almost as though the others were avoiding her.
Guess she was a tad high strung.
