This might surprise some, but I set up over a buck scrape once, and just because a friend claimed to urinate in buck scrapes, and for laughs.. urinated in it. I climbed in the tree and later that afternoon a small eight pointer came in and he had a fit over what I did. He pawed it all up and re-freshened it. Then he died.

I've read articles where guys have actually watch buck sniff where the hunter had taken a leak and started making a scrape there. I think deer just get nervous from our BO.

I do it all the time in the scraps they do not no if its human are not just a male have your wife put some in a bottle and put some on a scrap he will be back looking for her make sure it that time of the mouth

I believe pee is pee to deer. Not sure if they can tell what pee came from what. I may be wrong as I never talked to a deer to get there take on it lol.

Ive never sat down and talked to one but it works deer come into heat and bleed its the blood in the pee they smail

one morning i climbed into my ladder stand years ago in the dark only to put my hands in racoon poo. i think i had enough cover scent that day.

You tree squirrels have more problems than I thought.

The worse I can do is step on raccoon poop.
