Easy to find truck driving jobs.

I did stay at my last one for 20 years. The boss was a hunter, and understood.

I do too! Several on these forum have that same rifle, and they are very happy with it. However, in case you haven't noticed, a few have had difficulty with primer. Their primer issues have been resolved by using W209 primer. Recommend you save your self some grief, and start with W209 primer, in your new freezer filling machine.

Thanks for the heads up!

I think that I represent a lot of muzzleloader shooters, honestly. I live in a state that doesn't allow centerfire rifles for the most part (they are now allowed during the very last anterless season), and a front stuffer is just a much better tool to hunt with than a slug gun IMHO. If it were up to me, I'd probably hunt with a .308, but it isn't. Don't get me wrong, I really love muzzleloading now that I have experience with it, but I have never done it for the history. I thought about a SML, but with Savage not making the 10ML anymore, and with custom options being so expensive I thought against it. I have a TC Hawken and every once in awhile (after I have forgotten how much it hurts shooting conicals) I'll pull it out and play with it. When I go out to hunt however, I'll be carrying my new T/H Mountaineer!! Booya!

Have you tried shooting round balls with a little lighter powder charge out of the hawken? Im not trying to steer you to the traditional ways i just think round balls will be easier on your shoulder and pocket book, and still have plenty of accuracy and killing power. Just my 2 cents.

I must sound smarter than I thought.

Nope! I'm just a blue collar worker who used his body to make money.

Endeavor is the one who thinks he understands people.

Nope, no one on here, I care to understand. But being a truck driver explains your anti social behavior. Too many lonely miles and not enough personal interaction.
