I bet if I add up all my lead, including the different bullet alloys, pure lead, linotype, Tn., and wheel weights I have close to 6,000# of alloy.
Shucks, that's only enough for about a thousand three-inch cannon balls. (Or 187,000 .530 balls for a .54 caliber. )

Semi, Man I wish I had the time to cast. I know you said just an hour and a half but these days I can't find 30 mins free. That's a good system you have going. Plus, it's good to have connections.

Side note, when I seen the question about the fear of handling lead, my inital thought was "With Semi, the damage was probably done a long time ago"

TN, have you been talking to Bronko? Whatever he said about me is not true. I ain't damaged, just a little different.

Never smoked any of that funny stuff myself Hawkeye. But I did start smoking a pipe when I was 16, and there's nothing funnier than a kid smoking a pipe. The only strange stuff I've ever smoked was once on a camping/hunting trip I lost my tobacco pouch. Tried smoking some duff collected from the forest floor. Wasn't too bad actually.
