Very lucky guy. I was replaying it to see what kind of rifle- kinda hard to say, though if I had to guess I would say a CVA Kodiak or possibly a Knight Vision. It wasn't a bolt-action, that's for sure.

That was a serious blow-up. A fragment of the gun is lying on the concrete.

A friend and i were shooting several years ago when he double loaded his nice Knight Disk rifle with 150 grains of Pyrodex and the 240 grain XTP bullet. There were two new holes in the 80 yard target. The gun was not damaged: That's a testament to Knights fine quality barrels. Scott was damaged, the scope nearly broke his nose. Luckily, we have a neighbor whos a doctor.

Early years of muzzleloader competition, we were never allowed to have powder containers near the firing line. I try to carry over that discipline when firing any muzzleloader from a shooting bench.

The muzzleloader in the second video has two ramrod thimbles. Isn't that what TC does? Either way, a double charge is a dangerous thing in any rifle.

Would that be a testament to Green Mountain??? I dont believe, Knight ever made a barrel.
