just the "good luck finding stuff for knight" in my area is getting on my nerves, had two places tell me that today.

Don't let those guys bug you, they wouldn't know a great muzzleloader if it fell on their foot... :)

The plug on my Disc is like the one Ron showed, except with the hex head...I don't know which is "better", mine works just fine with Goex or Pyrodex loose...

That is pretty much correct. I have/had what Knight called the "Crossfire" breach plug in my Original and it has basically no flash channel.

This style was supposed to ignite pellets better.

Coreys BP appears to be even earlier than mine. Ive never seen one like that. IIRC they did offer a #11 adapter that somehow fit in the Orange DISCs. Its mentioned in my manual.

It has been my experience that the flame channel is a buffer that reduces pressure on the primer. Looking at this breech plug leads me to guess it would have some blow back, because of the pressure on the primer. Is this your experience?

Corey...

If you do not have a "C' tool this set of pictures might help you...

I believe I have one just like it, with just a 22 inch long barrel. Tell us how it shoots. CDD
