T/C vs Lyman
#3
If I needed a flintlock.. it would be a Lyman. If I wanted to shoot roundball it would be a Lyman Great Plains. If I wanted to shoot a lot of different projectiles, it would be a Lyman Trade Rifle. I have Lyman and T/C and would much rather shoot my Lyman rifle then a T/C although the T/C Flintlock is a good shooting rifle, but when you compare the price, the Lyman is a better deal.

My .54 GP flinter seems to like 3F over 2F, but the difference is so small that it may be my imagination. I haven't really done a side-by-side serious comparison of the two.
