Not to be critical, but getting all the butt of the gun into your shoulder would help felt recoil. :confused0024:

CLICK FOR A LARGER PIC ![]() ![]() ![]() We used this for years and now its the "guest house" ![]() This is the view from the 2nd floor window for our new "climate controlled" range. The cam is on 24x zoom so it appears much closer. BTW...we are moving or removing the outhouse before its "officially open for use. You can barely see the upper window in the previous 2 first pics. This is actually a bit over 100 yards and simulates the angle of the tree "house" stand we built. ![]() 300 yards past that target is the tree "house" we used last year. We have just over 1000 acres we either lease or own along the Meremac river. We built a pond about a mile away but hunting is off limits there except for Seniors or handicapped. We also don't allow ANY deer hunting within 300 yards of the food plots. |

Steve is a excellent marksman and the only one who has beat me when we are competing. I could post a vid right after his first shot but its no G rated. LOL It looks to me like only that one wasn't well planted on the shoulder. I intentionally let the 325gr push me. It didn't hurt but it did have a nice push instead of a sharp rap to the shoulder. We worked for a hour or two and this was more about having fun and testing a few loads for sabot failure and bullet performance when pushed hard. |
lol I never seen the video.....nice

There are two shooters and... if im not mistakin the one you are commenting on was my buddy that learned that very quickly. He is a big guy (over 6'3" and 230lbs) though and the NULA does not fit him well. I think you can tell he made adjustments in his other shots.

My shoulder has gotten so bad i've gone to the Plains Pistol, and gave up big game hunting. Kind of a bummer, but I knew it was coming. Now I have something new to learn.:D |
