Default MPro7 Products

Anyone using MPRO7 products on their Muzzleloader? I just bought the gun cleaner and their oil for my pistols. It cut down the cleaning time in half from using Hopps#9. I have not tried it yet on my Omega. So far it seems like good stuff.

I have used MPro-7 in my centerfires and its good stuff. I use to work at a place I was able to buy it with employee discount. I don't know if its good enough to buy at full price, but if price wasn't an issue I'ld buy a bunch of it. My memory says it was developed for aircraft machine guns firing hi rates of fire.

Sounds like a good product.

The military and NATO changed their "specs" for CLPs not long ago and required them to be non or less toxic IIRC and less flammable. I would watch for it at the GunShows from vendors that sell surplus since it looks like they as one of the 5 major contractors/manufactures that got the bid. I get a similar product in surplus for about $20 a gallon but you have to read the bottle/can and make sure it conforms to the new MIL-SPEC.

I have a good supply of the newer CENT-CLP now but i will keep an eye out for the Mpro7 surplus when its available.

I went shoot today to make sure everything was ready to go for muzzleloader season which starts on Saturday. I clean my Omega with the MPRO7 gun cleaner when I got home. That was the easiest cleaning ever on both the barrel and breech plug. I'm done with Hopps #9.
