You have a flush toilet in that thing Grouse? Also, remember you need to have house numbers clearly posted over the door if you want Domino's to deliver your pizza.

Looks good. I have three one-man box stands (smaller than that one) on three small 1/2 acre food plots. I do still hunt the woods now and then, or sit on a climber in thick stuff. But I really enjoy sitting in a comfortable armchair in a box and watching game come and go on the plot.

Last year I had a flock of 19 turkeys that would pitch into the plot every morning right at daybreak. There was a bit boss hen in that flock that would charge any deer that entered the plot with her wings extended. The deer would leave immediately and would not return as long as that flock was on the plot. It got so bad I started bringing a sling-shot and marbles to the stand just to run the turkeys off.

Very nice blind. That will sure do the trick. And that is one heck of a buck.

A friend of mine on their property built ... I call it a house but it is a blind in the top of a large maple tree. In the "blind" they have a small sofa, a hard wooden kitchen chair, a small table for their rest next to the window, a small heater that you can cook on, AND a PVC urinal. Its pretty cool actually. A tin funnel it the pot, and it pipes down to a large PVC container (drain pipe). When the drain pipe gets full they unhook the PVC pipe leading to it, and carry that off and dump it. He claims the odors come back up the pipe into the blind where they are dispersed high in the tree. They sure shoot a lot of deer out of there.

Semisane, I took your advice and put it in the corner. I built this stand mainly for my father who can't hunt because of his heart And weather. I will put a heater and food and water in it.

Thanks, I really hope he does get it. In Pa I use corn only in front of the cameras. Salt or trophy rocks go right in the ground like you mentioned.

Holy crap, what inline do I get ready for him. He lives in Myrtle beach and only owns a CF rifle. Decisions need to be made soon.

That's different. Good job, and I hope he does well this season.

Nice Condo! I'm in the process of building a couple of high rises for my 15 year old daughter, who doesn't think she should be cold while hunting!
