No Excuses Bullets
#1
So I have a question,
If you want to shoot these with no sabot in 50 cal will a 1/28 twist be okay?I will also get some of the 45cal bullets and try some with sabot as well.
And also what about reduced powder charges?
Thanks
Jason

No sabot with a conical bullet. Sabots are used when you want to shoot a smaller diameter bullet then the caliber of a rifle. A conical bullet does not require a sabot. I am guessing your shooting a .50 caliber. The No Excuses come in at .503 diameter. They are a slip fit conical bullet. All you do is dump your powder charge and then put the conical down the bore onto the powder.
I shoot a lot of conical bullets out of my White rifles. Again, a slip fit design. And I can shoot a lot of rounds without swabbing the bore.
