I personally like the looks of it. It looks like it would make a nice little walk around rifle.

I know you were. I told you it was a good looker, and you did a good job on it.

You just ruined it with that abortion sitting on top of it.

Open sights are fine. Just get closer.

My eyes need that abortion sitting on top of it.

I know your eyes are better than mine. Just get closer.

Real close.

Put one of those dots on your glasses. It's as good as a peep sight.

Pluckit, its your rifle and you are the one enjoying, enjoy using it. On top of that they can't accuse you of ruining a collector piece like in the center fire world. So hopefully this one will bring down that trophy or put meat in the freezer, whichever your goal is.

Welcome to the dark side Pluckit.
May the magnification be with you!

You might consider dropping twenty bucks on a compact little 4X scope to see how you like it. It will look a little trimmer and I think you would find the overall balance real nice.

I fancy the ProDiamonds, but I see Cayugad has one of these ProSports on one of his sidelocks. http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm...dTitle=Simmons

If it's anything like the ProDiamond it's a solid little scope.

I'm thinking about it Semisane, I do believe that 40 mm is a little much. I can barely even see the sights through the rings.

I went as far as putting a Simmons ProSport 2.5x20mm on a Wolverine of mine. The scope was real cheap. But that is just an awesome little tree stand rifle and walking around rifle. My shots are normally under 50 yards, and that little 2.5 is more then up to the task.

The rifle today had a 4x32mm Simmons ProSport on it and it worked just fine.
