I'm going to have to take a chance and possibly sin for the first time in my life.
It gets easier after the first time Pluckit. The old slippery slope theory, ya` know.

I have been to the dark side:

And I love it. It took some getting used to it, but after a while it was vey comfortable to shoot.

Nice set up. I sure would like to see some paper that one punched holes in.

I have only shot it once since we put the scope on. I will be giving it a work out soon. She will be going into the woods this year. She has already knocked down game, but not with the scope. My eyes need every bit of help now-a-days. Will post my results.

I normally use Barnes Expander sabots and R.E.A.L bullets. Will shoot both and maybe some others for fun.

rafsob - THAT is perfectly acceptable. Its the mounting of modern scopes like on Semisane's sinful sisters.

Ya know Bronko, everyone in life has a quirk. And putting modern scopes on traditional BP guns is Semi's quirk. But we still call him pal. If he was kin, we would just need to practice tough love with him. I honestly think we can make progress with him and turn him around.

Not!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You must quit posting pics of those 54 fast twist carbines. Those are like the ONLY 1-24 54cal i can find and i have a bunch of BlackMZ on back order. Its a good thing they are not SS with BlackIce.

I DONT NEED ANOTHER SUB GUN!!!

Oh man, Semi, you really come off with some good responses. And rafsob, I'm sorry but I am afraid there is no hope for semi. He has been down the dark side for far too long.
BTW, I was at Cabelas today. Was checking out a Kodiak Express Double rifle in .50 cal. Price was $1199. Went back to the bargain cave and there was one there with a price tag of $634. But alas, it wasn't a .50. It was a .72 cal. What a monsterous bore! Even though it was a "rifled 12 gauge", it looked mighty awesome. But a .72 double rifle is a bit more than I care to use.
