I don't think that is the case but I'm not sure on that. I thought that the Mag was a bit longer than the the reg XTP. But the true point of it is that Hornady doesn't make just a reg .240 grain XTP. They only make the grain in a MAG. Click on the link that I posted it will go through all the pistol bullets.
