My TC was concave like the CVA plug. Are you saying it wouldn't have shot pellets? I never tried it.

it would have not its not meant for it. You leave a big air gap since the pellet doesnt fill the hole. It may fill it on a tc, im not sure or not but a pellet certainly will not fit into the cva's design due to it needing extra meat for the "O ring" seal towards the tip of the plug. CVA states the new plug is specifically for loose powder only.

If CVA were smart. They would include both plugs with a new gun. Their cost on the plug can't be that much, and it would be a good selling point.

All they need to do is slip it in the box. Easy.

I saw the prototype plug. At the show it still was not right. There is more to the plug then just a 5/32 flame channel to consider.

Jon the omega plug ignites all loose bP powders and pellets 100% reliably.i agree that CVA should have designed a BP that does the same thing.it's a positive move on CVA's part to market a BP that ignites Bh209 reliably, but it should also ignite all bp sub powders and pellets also. to me this is clearly a move on cva's part to create additional revenue. as muley stated they need to include both plugs when they sell a rifle and not just one or the other. i see this as a bad move on the part of CVA.
