Default Anyone try the giRamrod / Spinjag combo?

I'm thinking about ordering the giRAMROD and spinjag from http://www.spinjag.com/giramrod_tapered.php. Has anyone tried this combo? I assume that for my t/c impact I need the tapered end (mine has a little bit of a tapered end that clicks into the stock) and if I order the rod they will cut it to fit the spinjag. Randy Wakeman on the chuckhawks site seems to really like their products.

I've heard nothing but positive reports on it.

It's on my list of stuff I plan to buy.

I have the GIRamrod with Spinjag loader on my Accura V1 with a Spinjag on my short starter. Set-up works great for me and helps with loading for sure. I use mine both at the range and while hunting.
If you call them on the phone and tell them what rifle you have they will know what Ramrod and length you will need. Great people to work with. When I ordered mine online I made a mistake and the next day I got a phone call from them to confirm what I needed. Can't ask for better CS than that.
Worth every penney I paid as far as I am concerned.

Don't have the ramrod but do use the spinjag loader and spinjag starter.

Would it be any different to cut down the rod that came with my t/c and tap it for the spin jag?

The GIRamrod is a solid rod so if yours is solid I can't see why it would not work.

+1 - I plan on attempting this first. If I screw it up, I'll just buy the GiRamrod!
