I'll be 64 in a few weeks and have worn glasses for 50 years. I have terrible astigmatism, am terribly nearsighted (20/400 without glasses) and have cataracts, as well as kerataconus in both. I have a pair of glasses with just the upper prescription like Ron mentioned earlier that I use strictly for when I'm shooting my rifles since it's too hard trying to find the right spot when using my progressive lenses. I have Leupold VXI and VXIIs on my rifles and am able to adjust the focus with no problem, so you might want to go with a pair of shooting glasses like that because it sure took care of my problem and it was driving me nuts until I went that route.

PS: To mtmuley---Better walking into an occasional wall than off a cliff, LOL!

I don't talk about THE CLIFF.

I'm still healing.

Try contacts. I always seemed to have trouble getting a full field of view using binos or scopes with my glasses on. Thank God for contacts.
