Semi, be sure to leave enough room in your vehicle for all those "little treasures" you find in the pawn/gun shops for the trip back home.
Or, if you run out of room, you could leave the mother-in-law behind.
Good luck.

When I was married, I always dreaded the annual in-law vacation trip. First off, it was no vacation for me, it was a lot of driving, and then sitting around a house where there was nothing to do. I used to wander around town and see what I could see, but then normally caught you know what for not "being around to visit." I pity you Semisane. But that is part of playing the family game. So smile the entire time, nod your head when spoken to. Over eat. Try and make any passing of gas as silent as possible (but make them stink). And don't forget to make a fuss when its time to go home. Have fun there bud.

I really don't mind this periodic trip. The gals are all great fun and really enjoy their hen sessions.
They play cards, knit, cross-stitch, cook and yak, yak, yak. The only real problem is when they decide to go shopping together and my Visa goes along for the ride.
I spend most of my time out on the back deck reading, smoking my pipe and sipping lemonade (or something like that
). I bought a copy on-line of the book Devil said is real good (So Wild A Dream) and will give it a try. That should be good for a day or two anyway. I always bring three or four books on this trip.

Well I hope you're pulling a trailer. Cause with all the suitcases those women will need about the only room you will have in the vehicle is enough for a change of new spongebob undies and maybe you will be able to bu a pack of bullets to bring home.
