I went to an estate sale today and scored a good 8 + lbs of Bees wax for $2 !!

I figure i can lube up my minie balls with it and have a much sturdier lube than bore butter. Probably fill the base of the minies as well just to get some better seal.

Are you mixing it with Crisco or just using it straight? I have a neighbor with bees and got some from him recently also.

Why spend two whole bucks when you can get it from the hive for free?

I did make some lube today and melted it with a bit of olive oil. The mixture came out like something you'd like on the hornady great plains bullets.

A small piece makes a chit load of lube!
