No safety orange required here in cali either, it's optional. i sometimes wear a orange ball cap,most times it's strapped to the back of my pack.. Ray

on private property, orange isnt a big deal unless you have 10 people huntin the same area...where we are, you know your area, you dont wander off of it, unless your on the main road back to camp.
public lands...you are a fool to go on public lands with out the orange. you will be the guy (or girl) we read about in the news paper..or on the news...the sad ending stories. |
Even if we didn't have to wear it in Colorado i'd wear it.
Too many trigger happy hunters here from out of state. Locals not much better. Not sure how you can mistake a human for an elk? Aren't they even aiming enough to hit the kill zone? |
