add or change your ISP DNS to Google's or another DNS server. Here's Google's DNS servers:

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

How would one do this to change servers?
What does one's ISP server have to do with it?
Please explain for the rest of us who don't understand how to make this change?

They had a post up earlier in the week that the site would be down for the next few days for maintenance.

The site is currently getting a software upgrade. As many of you know, this has not been done in some time and the site was experiencing many errors and glitches because of it. So we finally got someone to upgrade the site. We are now waiting for the upgrade to take effect and then work the bugs out of that. We are sorry for the inconvenience but do hope that when it is back up and running, many of the past problems many of you reported to the administrators will no longer exist. All I can do at this time is ask for you patience and assure you, all is being done to get things back to normal ASAP.
