Default replacement for ballet's

Since they no longer make these bullets and I am now out of them, has anyone found a replacement for them. All my hammer guns with a 1-48 twist loved these bullets, they load easy, shoot good and were cheap, they worked great on deer out of my .54. I just haven't been able to find anything else like them still out there.

Hornady makes a PA Conical that is very similar.

You might try the real bullet, they worked well for my wife, if I remember correctly we molded our own. The shorter ones for a 1-48 twist.

The REAL conicals do shoot well. In .54 caliber they come in the 300 grain and 380. In the 1-48 twist rifles, we hunted the 300 grain with about 70 grains of Pyrodex RS. Never had a deer that did not get a pass through, so I have no idea what the bullet looked like after the fact. I have a friend with a .54 T/C Hawkins, and that is the only bullet he hunts with. He drops a lot of deer with a REAL. But then our shots are not all that far either.

I did a search for PA conicals and found some for $8.79 a box of 50 at Trophy Outdoors, that seems like a good deal for 50. ..also lots of other reasonably priced muzzle bullets there too.
