Default Woods Runner book

Got a book today in the mail from ebay and its by gary paulsen and called woods runner. Im only on page 17 but so far its a very good book. Its already feeling like one of those warm books that you cant put down but force yourself to do, so it will last

Give me a day or 2 and i'll know by then if it was worth the $3.50 or not.

We gonna talk books?

Some of my favorites - Rabble In Arms by Kenneth Roberts (also Arundel and Northwest Passage).

Well, I guess I have to put in my .02 worth. The best books I've read by far are the Joe Pickett series by C.J. Box. They're about a fictional Wyoming game warden in the Big Horn Mountains. Very good books/writer.

originally planned on dragging it out for a few days but finished it this evening. Excellent read! One that will go onto the shelf and be re-read at least once a year.

Jon you need to get this one next....

The Ridge Runner...

I worked with a couple of guys that tried to catch up with this guy. He kept breaking into cabins in the outback. Stayed on the run for a long time. One of my work buddies Del West was after him for a couple of years - he even drank beer with him in Baileys Butte Bar and Grill - but do not that he was drinking and buying for the Ridge Runner. It is a great wilderness survivals story.

My kids and I listened to Paulsen's "Hatchet" on our long car ride to our last camping trip. Great book!
