Please Read HNI Rules ~Rule infractions due to improper advertising as of late

Lately several have posted items for sale in the Classified section which is a convience feature placed here for your use.
It is free! Then the user comes back here to refer to that post in the Black Powder forum and that is against HNI rules.
Please refrain from doing this - I hate editing.
Thanks

"Illegal posts should NOT be tolerated Screwbolts. " I totally agree, but from what State's laws will the charges be placed for the "NOT legal" post. IMHO, Simply being against the forums rules does not justify the use of words " NOT legal " .
Or is this some form of UN regulations being acted on by the President of the USA without the consent of the USA Congress or the American People?

So what's so wrong as posting an ad in the classifieds then telling his peers about it in the BP forum in case they are interested? If that's against the rules, its a stupid rule and should be removed and allowed.
So if I were to tell everyone in the BP forum that I have a BP gun for sale and give 'my friends' first crack at it before posting in the classifieds - would that also be against the rules?

We all know the intent of JW's post. Just substitute "improper" for "not legal" and we won't have to get into a constitutional debate.
