Default 45 cal. Knight elite

I didn't take any photos yet but i did save the target so that i could. I mounted a Bushnell 250 DOA scope on the Elite and now that the snow storm was over and it warmed up to the mid 50's I headed out to sight it in. I only had some 200 gr sst's in 45 cal and I only took 100 gr pyrodex loads, so this wasn't really a time to try and find the perfect load. I just wanted to give it a test run. I was amazed at the results considering the lack of experimentation. This was also the first time I ever shot from a bench. I always shoot from the hood of my truck or shooting sticks. I have to admit the bench made it quicker and easier to sight in, as well as it shrunk my groups. To bad I can't take the bench hunting with me.
Anyway

the gun: Knight 45 cal Elite Black composite
Powder : 100 gr pyrodex
Bullet: 200 gr SST
primer: federal 209 FPJ
Lasered at 100 yards.
Results: 6 shots 2 scope adjustments then:
Final 3 shot group: 1/2 inch ( ok maybe 3/4) with 2 touching at 100 yards.
Typical Knight

Since I didn't have a camera yet i decided to try and scan the target. I put the purple paper underneath so it would show up better. I didn't get it in the scanner right though as the shots were to the left not low as it looks .

Excellent Chet.

I already have the .45 GM/LRH Renegade. So I don't need a .45 Elite. No, I don't! REALLY, I DON'T!!!
