If you dont shoot it, why bother owning it?

Hell yes go and shoot it!

I can't imagine ever wearing out a barrel shooting lead bullets thru it at 1200 fps ever. What is different about the rifle? What makes it a collector series? Maybe it is a Super 91-II, I think White billed those as collectors didn't they? Those were just new old stock blue steel guns. Just another White, shoot it.

So its unam...unamin.....helll..everyone wants you to shoot it so go ahead. Heck, I have a Ruger #1 Tropical in 405 Win - SS and grey laminent. Only made a year or two in that configuration. And I shoot the crap out of it.
Like the man said. If ya ain't gonna shoot it, why did you buy it?
Go for it. And send us the report.

If you want to shoot it then I say shoot it. I have a couple "collection/valuable" pieces that I feel no need or want to shoot so I don't, but if I ever get the itch to got try them out I will.

Shoot it. Guns are made to be shot. Not looked at. Now does that mean you'll shoot it every day or every week? Probably not. Most of us have more than one muzzleloader and we shoot them all. You can still enjoy the gun and not have it get beat up.
