They are awesome and I really like them. I have a lot more confidence at longer ranges using the globe sight. I'm sure you will be completely satisfied with them.

Please post a picture of your set up. thanks Ray

Minnesota won't let me use a scope for ML season, so I bought that set-up. For open sights it is by far the best I've used. Very easy to see and the front hood lets you adjust how bright the front sight is. There's been a couple times shooting in the open during mid day and it was almost too bright without closing it down some. On my Knight KRB7 I mounted it in the rear scope mount holes. I could only fasten it down with one screw but as long as that screw is tight it works well.
In my opinion if you can use a scope it's your best option.

I read you mounting it in the original rear sight holes. Why not in the rear scope holes? A peep works better close to your eye.

the ghost ring isnt a peep sight. Its very large.

Using the open sight hole allows me to perfectly line up the front and rear O's and kind of like a scope, if you see any black or haze around it, you're not centered. Its worked well for me over the years.

I understand FG, but generally a ghost ring will mount very close to the eye. It should be fuzzy. That's why it's called a ghost ring. :p

Anyway, as long as it works for you.

Sorry it took so long. I've been thinking more about golf than muzzleloading lately.

They are great sights but will take some getting used to.
