Default Not a good day

Took the Optima out and after 3 shots with 120GR BH209 and 110GR BH209 with the crush rib - 260 PT Gold combo, it was time to pack up and call it a day. The crush ribs just load to easy in the rifle, i'll need a thicker sabot for this bore.

My brother on the other hand, had a great day with his V2 Accura with 120gr BH209 - 260gr PT Gold, Crush Rib, CCI 209M.

153 yards.

Under 3/4" group!

Strange, because I know your bore is tighter than mine, and the PT/CR loads perfect in mine.

Confusing.

thats why i dislike sabots, you have to find the right one to get the job done.

Cmon Jon lol,all the money you spend on PB's,a pack of crushed ribs and a pack of MMP-24's will cover 95% of the muzzle loaders out there.want to cover all of them, throw in a pack each of MMP12 and some smooth harvesters. if the crush rib was to loose, i have money says the 24's will be perfect...Ray

Muley his rifle has had a lot of rounds through it.which may explain it. still MMP- 24's will more than likely do the trick.
