I talked to Barnes about the Thor bullets they make. They said the Thor bullet was so close to their bullet that it wouldn't matter.

I found it strange that a .45 cal and a .50 cal would be that close, but what do I know.

So, look at the 250gr and 300 gr Barnes and the Thor will be close.

According to Barnes anyway.

With a 100gr BH209 charge and a 300gr bullet, sighted 3" high at 100, i am dead on at 150 and only 7" low at 200.

I'd think with the 250gr thor it would shoot even flatter.

This was going to be my hunting load. Maybe i'll go to 110 gr to flatten out the 200yd shot some more.
