How do you (Call In) a Coon? never heard of that. I simply just sit in my backyard around the Bon Fire and cook some Winners and the Coons come running.

I use a FoxPro caller. They have separate "coon calls". You should try it some time. It really is alot of fun, and normally the raccoons come in fast and furious. I have had several attack my caller.

I just set mine up about 30 yards or so from what I consider a den tree. Then get covered up as best as possible and start calling. You will look up into the tree and see a bunch of heads popping out of the den holes of the tree. Then you go from there. I have a buddy who is a real tree climber. He shoots them as soon as they pop their head out. But I like to keep calling and really get them riled up. Then they come in on the caller and decoy with fervor!! Just like a coyote does. But a whole lot easier to call. Tom.
