Ive had a few 40+ round sessions with the Lehigh NFPJ including max BH209 loads and the breach only ever had light soot at most. Using only the 2 best fitting primers i could get away with only wiping off the bolt face/adapter and just removing the carbon from the flash hole/primer pocket. Ive left a bit too much oil in the breach area too just to see if anything is gumming it up and it looked great too.
Primers extract easily and usually just fall out of the adapter with just a turn to the side.
The clean part is great but knowing that the primer is getting 99.9% of the fire to the powder is really nice too. And it will do it MANY times before carbon begins to restrict the flash channel.

Hey GM... What primers did you find provide the best fit in yours ?
I may have to switch from Rem STS, which are very clean, but fit extremely tight in the BP neck.... and have been expereriencing some bolt extraction issues.
Thanks... Rob
