Default To high?

I got the GPR out to 70 yards today in this nice freezing weather. Damn fingers are so numb its hard to type lol.

But anyway, i have it center and aprox 3" high. That going to be to high once i pull back to 100 yards?

Group was excellent but i only took 2 shots. The wind was picking up and drying out my eye. Im blind as it is and wind in the face only makes my vision worse.

I also switched back to the full size .530 round balls with 90gr 3f American Pioneer. They load with just a touch more pressure at the muzzle but the rest of the way down is a piece of cake.

Yes it might be an inch high at 100 yards. I normally sight in dead on at 75 yards and they are an inch sometimes a little more low at 100 yards.

It was beautiful here today. 17šs and sunny. Just a nice day to be outside. I did a little shoveling from the storm we just had, then got out the blower, and actually worked up a sweat.

I will load 90 to 95 Gr in my 50 and 54 flinters both RB and patch
My POA at 50 yards runs about 1 1/2" high over center at the 100 dead on

Here's an interesting link that shows you will be close. There is a chart that goes with his findings that you can open.
