Well I was going to post picks of my new euro mounts, but I suppose I shall wait until the forum is fixed. Also i was going to say that I bought a new gun today (on layaway at cabelas). Deceided to wait on the flintlock. Wanted to get a .243 win for my son, so cabelas has a sale and picked one up. Got a Ruger M77 Hawkeye. I'll post pics when I get it. Now this is going to sound crazy, but I wanted to start a tradition. To buy a gun with the same production year as their birth year. Well to make this happen you got a buy it when their born!!! hehehe Anyways I figure its fitting. Named my son Ruger and now he has his first Ruger rifle. Going to have the floorplate engraved with the rest of his name and birth date under the Ruger emblem. Can't wait to show the pics.

Hey guys,

Obviously there is a major problem with the board. All posts were moved into the turkey archive subforum.

Currently, I don't see any way for me to simply put all the posts back. I'm hoping the IT guys/gals at IB can turn back the clock a bit and put everything back.

If they can, any posts made between now and then may be lost.

If they can't put them back.. We're going to have to move them back one by one. Which may take forever and a day.

....sigh...

Please bear with me while I try to get this fixed.

Thanks,
Christine

forever and a day is right.... 16k pages in the turkey forum is unreal.

Best of luck, hope it can be resolved.

Oh no, this can't be good. I finally found a bullet that would fit down the bore of my Pro Hunter and my thread is gone.

Not yet, our muzzleloader season starts tomorrow and I couldn't get it in time to get it done. I will be doing it next week though. The Hornady 250 SST with 3 petal EZ sabot fits nice and tight, but I don't feel like I am going to blow a gasket getting it down the bore.
