Default Need some opinions

Alright ive already started the restoration on the GPR late yesterday night and then more today. After removing the old stain and getting down to bare wood, i figured i'd go dark as usual. Well i changed my mind. I want to use a Lighter Honey Maple stain that trackofthewolf sells. Most likely top it off with truoil and cut it back to the classic rifle sheen look.

Heres the area where i need opinions.

On a lighter color stock what would you go with?

Blue barrel - trim.

brown barrel -

Blue barrel - polished steel trim

brown barrel - polished steel trim

or

blue - brown barrel with brushed trim.

i am having a hell of a time coming up with a combo for the color.

I got a lot of the lock side part of the stock almost finished up but the other side is still in need of work, mostly the cheek piece thats still chunky looking. Have to figure out a way to trim it down and reshape tomorrow.

Dark cherry stain on the stock, browned barrel, all other furniture in the white with a high polish.

I would do brown on light brown.
Brown barrel and brown ed steel trim with the honey maple stock.
I did a Hawken similar to that but had a birdeye stock, looked good when finished.
