I draw the line at -25º below for recreational shooting. If its colder then that, I just stay in the house. The temperature is not the problem most the time. Its the wind. If there is no wind, even -20 below does not seem all that bad.

I like your Style Dave! But the last time I tried to shoot in that Cold of Weather every time I blinked My Eyes they Stuck Shut and when I looked to see where My Dog was he was back at the Truck trying to start it to get warm.

We got the shooting shack underway. We just need to finish up a few things so we are not heating the entire pole barn and setup some large target frames so you can shoot a long time before going out in the cold.

I still might get a smaller used Uhall and make a mobile heated shooting shack and keep all my supplies in it. Then i just need to grab the guns.

Sabotloader already has my address. So he can send the gun, breechplug, bullets and powder for the test. I'll return the gun as soon as I can locate his address in my computer. I think I have it filed under "sucker".

I'm still thinking of going back to 777 for 220grn bullets and lighter in the 52 and 50cal.

The 45 is great with BH209 and 185 or 200grn bullets.
