You can't master the skills it takes to learn how to make a flintlock reliable in 2 days...
I was kind of wondering about that myself. Was he saying the season starts in two days or it is only 2 days long?

As has been mentioned flintlocks are challenging weapons to learn how to shoot accurately and reliably. And honestly $200 won't really get you started. There are a lot of needed accessories that come with shooting a flintlock: powder flasks, flints, special tools such as a knapping hammer, vent pick and pan brush and you will want a mainspring vise as well for cleaning your lock. And that does not even begin to address projectiles, patches and powders.

Learning to shoot a flintlock well enough to hunt with takes time. But it is also a lot of fun.
