Hi everyone, new member.

First of all sorry if this is the wrong section, I couldn't find a new join area.

My name is Tyler and I'm joining to hopefully find some good loads to shoot through my knight disc elite .50 so any help would be appreciated.

The site looks great and I will be digging through some threads looking for some load starters. Thanks.

Tyler

Howdy Tyler. I see you're a night owl like me.

Welcome to what I think is the best muzzle loading forum to be found on the net.

I don't own a Knight and never have (trying to rectify that). But I have a number of .50s. In my opinion you can't go wrong with .452 caliber 250 grain Speer Gold Dots/Deep Curls or Hornady XTPs in Harvester H5045SB sabots over anything from 85 to 110 grains of GOEX, Pyrodex, or Triple Seven. My most accurate loads seem to fall in the 85 to 95 grain range with most powders, and that gives you plenty of oomph out to 150 yards.

Is that gun new to you, or have you shot it before?

Thanks. Yeah I didn't reall expect too much of a response this late at night lol.

I bought the gun brand new when they first came out. Honestly haven't shot it much due to my job (usmc) but I plan on getting it really dialed in this winter. The gun has probably only got 30 rounds through it? Same with my fathers (identical to mine) I saw something about the lehigh conversion and it looks like I should invest into it.

Welcome Tyler, and don't mind Semisane. He knows a lot about muzzleloading but he stays up late at night cause he doesn't have anything better to do at night.
(sorry Semi - couldn't pass up a shot that easy.)

Welcome Tyler!! and thank you for your service to our Country!! I am new to this ML site also, but I like this site the best. I have been shooting black powder for more than thirty yrars, but when the in-lines came out, it became all new to me!! The only advice I cangive you is, "keep your powder dry" in both work and play.
