Default ended my hunting season early

had to end my hunting season early due to an back injury. on christmas day, I went out for a little while. I walked about 500 yrds, I was almost in tears. the area I was in has maybe `10 to 20 degree hills, nothing to what I would hike in the mountains.

guess it is time to gear up for my stock project, saving up for an new gun of some type, and getting ready for some range time once I am healed up a little bit. also save up to rebuild the lock.

Hunted two different properties in Henry cty. One nothing. The other a doe at 120 yds. I'm hoping I missed cause I found no blood or any type of trackable matter. As I was leaving I decided to prune some trees and left the ML where my makeshift ground blind was......Well, she snorted at me and ran 15 feet'......and stopped......She waited on me to make a move, and as I did, she hopped off. I am excited to get back there tomorrow am and sit all day.

Hope u feel better corey. That bug thats going around nc and va is a real nasty one; like a cold on steroids. I hate missing the last few days of Va season this year, boy did I find the turkey motherlode. I hate not being able to take either a turkey of deer this week. Work for me goes ballistic this time of year.
