Default Update on Accura - Ron BP

Got out this evening with the Accura and rons custom plug.

I adjusted my firing pin bushing out to make up for the loose primer fit and all is perfect and super clean!

These didnt shoot worth a snot but i wanted a heavy bullet to test with.

Shes back in action

Im glad the BP worked out for you MD, Ron did a Good Job! But Im still not sold on the Loosening of the Firing Pin Housing. It's not ment to be loosened and backed out. Cant you find a Longer Primer like the Win W209, or is that what your Using? Or why not have Ron make you a Longer BP to take up the Gap, if possible. OH.....and Im Ron, (Breechplug) not to be Confused with Ron's Breechplug,LOL

thats what im using.

Due to each gun being different, i'd have to send ron my rifle in order to figure out how much adjustment would need to be felt in the plug. By the time you pay shipping both ways, you have quite an investment.

Gotcha,,,,,but and Im not saying Ron's BP is'nt needed. But is the Blow Back from the V2 that bad with the Factory Plug that you needed a Custom one. Or is Accuracy better with the Custom one vs the Factory BP, or is it just the Cleaning Part? For me and I dont have a V2 but do have ACCURA's. The Minimal Blowback for me does'nt justify having to get a better BP. My Accuracy is Excellant and I dont mind the Little Extra Cleaning of My MLer. Am I Missing Something? Also is each V2 that much different? I cant see it with the Maching of Parts being made to the same tolerances, if it is, it would be so small that you could'nt even measure the amount.

Thats my V1 with the older style plug, not the QRBP.

I only needed a new plug because i accidently sold another rifle with my Accura's plug in it.

The ironic, ironic get it? The ironic thing here is, one of us did send him a longer breech plug to begin with, but he sent it back.

Ron you know why i had to send it back.

The longer breech plug still was not long enough.

This isn't quite true. You could tell me what you want the OAL to be with your primer of choice.
