Well my wifes optmia had some problems with it. The hammer wouldn't pull back, so I knocked out the three pins holding the assembly in and the whole trigger mechanism fell apart in my hands. Has a broke spring for sure and who knows what else is wrong with it. Gonna send it back to CVA and see if they can fix it. Wondering how good CVA customer service is?

Yep, CVA say's to NOT take apart the Trigger Assembly. If they fix it you will be Lucky. Put the Pins back in and put it back togeather and mention None of what you did. Just say you recieved it Broke.

Well I have sent a beartooth magnum back to them twice to have the the action release lever replaced. The second time I just sent the receiver with the parts still on my reassembly pins. They did send me my assembly pins back also, as requested. They fixed it free both times. I called them to have them send me the lever so I could fix it myself, but they wont sell just parts. Your Optima or Optmia as you spell it has the same parts I believe.
IMHO, this action is a poor copy of the H&R design. The lever that open the action has broke twice for me.
