300 gr deep curl
This question is for those of you who have tested and use the 300 gr deep curl.with it's high B.C and it's excellent terminal performance. would you say this bullet is a good choice for say 200 yd shots? the .250 version is a great bullet, but it doesn't have the B.c. the 300 does.and i would truly like to use the same bullet for practice and hunting.most people out here on the left coast that shoot omegas and triumphs use the barnes .250 bullets and take deer and hogs out to 200 yds. a "few "people have had problems with the barnes opening up a really close range with higher powder charges.and saving a few dollars does play into my thinking also.thanks

I would use the 250 to 175 yards on deer without a question.. If 200 yards were going to be the shot, 300 deep curl will be the better choice.... This is from the Omega with 110 gr. T7-2f This is from the White with 120 gr. |
Wish I could find either... .250 or .300. Back ordered.

Consider the 50 /40 200gr bullet, it has the BC and the SD + a noticable amount of added velocity. The 200 gr Shock Way and the 200 gr Lehigh I have had great results with for long range.
