Default Mountain Rifle 54 again

Finally got out to the 75 yard range today. Yesterday we moved the deer feeder to a different area where we had been seeing constant deer tracks. While setting up the target today i noticed my tire tracks from the day before had a small yet of deer tracks and then HUGE buck tracks!! Checked the game camera and sure enough, i had One more picture on there! Im giving it a couple more days now that i know they found the feeder. I moved the camera in closer so it'd hit both trails they use Pretty exciting!

But anyway, 75 yards with that .54 shooting 80gr 3f American Pioneer, .015 TC Patch and .530 hornady round balls produced a 2 1/2" group. Not bad but i am going to play with 90gr 3F and see how it does at the longer ranges. Shooting a couple inches to the right so i will make adjustments on it here later on.

So for now, im taking a break in shooting so i can let the deer get comfortable enough to start using the feeder normally.
