Congrats hammer

Read your manual and watch the video too. It should do fine with recommended charges of loose powder. I personally cant stand pellets and IMO in a carbine they are even worse vs loose powder.

I have one and I think you'll love it.I'm using Pyrodex pellets right now but I think I'm making a mistake. If I were you, what ever powder I decided to go with I would make it loose powder not pellets. When I burn the rest of the pellets I have I'm going to switch to loose powder. One reason for this is when you carry the pellets in a speed loader with a bullet in it with them they rattle around inside. This not only makes noise you really don't want to make on a stalk, but it also damages the pellets. The darker end of the Pyrodex Pellets I use was getting knocked off of the pellet.
