I was just messing around with some of my rifles and one thing about my 54 cva mountain rifle that bothered me was that the LOP seemed a bit to short and always hurt my cheek when firing it due to the LOP.
I took the recoil pad off my Optima for a test fit and perfect! The Crushzone pad fit like a glove on the Mtn stalker. No longer have to mash my cheek bone down on the stock to get the sights lined up.
So if you got a Mtn stalker or bobcat, the $13 crushzone pad will work on them

Oh its loving 80gr 2f american pioneer and the 360GR PR's Extreme Elite HP's!
I ordered a bunch of bullets today including a couple hundred 295gr Powerbelts for this .54 That will be fun to see how it does with them.
Still have to work up a patched round ball load.
I have some plans for this one but need to put the funds together for it

Fit pretty good, i feel that it fits me better and a lot more comfortable. The added length allows my cheek a rest from the bruising of the stock during recoil.
Now for a camo dipping kit
