Default what to do, want my 54cal ready late season

my late muzzy season starts dec 11. I would love to get my 54cal hawken ready, but I don't have time. it is one of my most comfortable guns to shot. but I am worried I am not going to have time to get it up and going.

planned load
80grs of pyro rs or 2ff goex.
50/50 crisco/1000+ lube patch
.530 homecast wheel weight ball.

what to do what to do

Shucks Corey, you can probably get it sighted in with one short range session. The load you are planning should shoot well and is all you need for deer.

What to do? Go to the range and sight it in. Then shoot a deer.

my t/c renagade with a 1 in 66 twist
my load hornady rn 230 gr.
85 gr goex 3 F
pillow patch blue and white .018
beeswax@lard (no salt) 60/40
will tack drive RB all day long
I keep my groups about 2" high at 50 yards brings me dead on at the 100 yd mark
My old renegade with 1 in 48 wist loves same set up but powder charge was 95 gr.
I find t/c barrel with shallow lands seem to shoot better with heavy charges
good luck
