Where I live I have the choice of Wincheter W209 or the real expensive Winchester Triple Seven 209 primers. So I use the Winchester W209.

In percussion cap I use RWS 1075 or CCI magnum caps.

I swapped the 209 breech plug on my Omega with the .25 acp cal conversion from MuzzleLoadingBullets.com

http://muzzleloadingbullets.com/thom...er_encore.html

It works great with Triple 7 loose powder, less crud rings, cleaner barrel. I haven't tried it with pellets.
I spoke to the folks at BH 209, they said it doesn't work well with their powder. I've heard that others have used small pistol mag primers in the .25 acp cal brass and had no miss-fires using BH 209

I reload, so priming the .25 acp cal brass isn't a problem. They sell a hand-held kit to load the brass for around $30.

I'm also using the Fusion primers. Is there something else just as good out there for cheaper? Probably, but so far the Fusion primers have given me no issues and I really like them. The reason I tried them is I have had great luck with the Fusion rifle bullets. I've also used the Fusion muzzle loading bullets with great success. I've been more than pleased with them.

For #11 caps, I use CCI Magnum ones.

For powder I'm using 100 grains of Pyrodex pellets.

You can't go wrong with W209's.

W209. They fit tight in the Triumph, with no blow back!

I use mostly W209's but i hate how expensive they are now as compared to what they were a couple of years ago.

I use the Win W209 Primers and the Win T7's. Now it may be me but and I know there both good but the Win W209's are a tad bit better. Now there probably the same Primer marketed in a different name (mabey not) but that's just my experiences. Although I have 7 boxes of 100 of the T 7's vs 2 of the Win W 209's. I cant fnnd the Win W209's anymore so I sticked up on the T 7's. There both good.
I also use them both with Pellets and Powder. If you have a Primer Bullet Sabot Combo and it works, who cares who's Primer it is, use it. Dont change what is'nt broke.
