This weekend I shot my Encore PH 50 times without cleaning between shots. I am a BH209 believer. I usually only have to run 3 soaked patches down the barrel and 3 dry ones and the bore is Lilly white.

For the breech plug threads I use a .45 cal bronze bore brush dipped in solvent and twisted in the threads then a dry patch wrapped around it.

I have found that the clean up is much easier than with 777, just my personal opinion.

Doug I clean the breech with a 20 gauage brush than use an old brush with a patch and Montana bore cleaner I use the COWBOY it takes out lead also works for me.

Hey, thanks all. I getting pumped about the cleaning process. I need to get that Montana stuff John and give it try.

Everything you guy's said about BH 209 has been spot on.

I will be shooting again on Thursday. I will let you know if I picked up some speed on cleaning.
