Default trick or treat

went to the range today.
65 to 70 degrees
clear skies
WINDS 15 to 20mph gust up to 30mph. fun again.
50yards.

forgot (lost when I got home to look for it) my powder measure, so I went to buy one, got an knight one at an little iga. I think it is an pos. went to walmart an picked up an TC clear measure. on top of that some guy told me i could not kill anything with 240gr bullet push with anything under 150gr off any powder and pellets where the only way to go and I waste my money buying loose. I finally turned to me and said i only 4 muzzleloaders if I shooting nothing but pellets I would be broke . pissed me and another guy off. got an quick look in his box two 100 packs of 45/50 pellets and he is shooting 3 pellets per shots.

sorry vent.

any way.
first target. center aiming 90grs of pyrodex rs and 240gr tc surefire blister pack out of my knight usak. lower right 70gr of bh 209 (yes I broke down and bought some). 275gr powerbelt hp.

next target, my wife was being cute (which she is any way ) mixed powders 90% with 90grs of app 3f or bh 209 6% 100 grs of the same powders. out of my win apex. most where 45 cal 200gr shockwaves. sabots loaded tight. 2 where will 300gr pb plats. (1 each 100gr app 3f and 1 100gr bh 209). only shot with 90grs pyrodex rs 275gr hp.

Hey Corey, I really don't think those 200 grain Shockwaves are a good bullet choice for a clean kill on paper pumpkins. I would switch to big heavy conicals for those suckers. They're tough.
