Default Did Knight's quality fall off at the end?

So I have two knights, a disc extreme and a wolverine that I just picked up. The disc is an amazing rifle, very well built and high quality, but the wolverine seems a little less so. I know that the wolverine was Knight's "economy" model, but the bluing seems like one of those spray-on finishes (was already rubbed off in two places on a NIB gun) whereas my disc's bluing is as deep and black as any I have seen. I noticed that the box the Disc came in had Centerville, Iowa on it as their address still (my hometown, and where knight started) and the wolverine has their newer address on it, so I would assume that my disc is older. I'm wondering if this means that the quality of the rifles fell off after they moved their manufacturing? Or is this just how the wolverines were?
